Volvik Vivid Soft Golf Balls (One Dozen, Blue) — Low Compression Soft Feel & Greenside Control

Volvik Vivid Soft Golf Balls (One Dozen) in Blue are low-compression, brightly colored golf balls built to deliver a soft feel, dependable greenside control, and a stable, accurate flight for moderate swing speeds.

These blue Volvik Vivid Soft balls combine a soft 70-compression core with Volvik's new I2 cover and a matte finish to create a unique blend of feel, control, and visual pop on the course. The 322-dimple pattern evens out airflow for predictable trajectory, while the vivid color makes the ball easier to track in play and locate in rough or tall grass.

How do these balls feel compared with standard tour or distance balls?

The Vivid Soft was engineered to prioritize a gentler impact and responsive short-game touch rather than ultra-high ball speeds. Players who find traditional high-compression balls too firm will notice reduced shock at impact and improved feel around the greens.

• 70 compression for a noticeably softer strike than many distance-focused balls
• Patented soft-matte finish that cushions feel without sacrificing control
• I2 cover formulation tuned for a balance of durability and greenside spin

Will the flight be stable in varying wind and course conditions?

The 322-dimple design promotes consistent lift and reduces erratic movement through the air. Combined with the ball's balance of spin and launch, this geometry supports a reliable, controlled trajectory for mid-iron to driver shots, especially for players with moderate swing speeds.

• 322-dimple pattern for steady aerodynamic performance
• Core and cover tuned to limit excessive sidespin in crosswinds
• Bright blue finish improves visual tracking during flight

How do these perform around the green and on short shots?

Volvik designed the Vivid Soft to offer enhanced feel and stopping power on chips, pitches, and putts. The soft cover and lower compression help the ball bite into the green, yielding better control on approach shots and a confident touch on delicate shots.

• Soft cover increases greenside friction for improved spin and control
• Lower compression enables more predictable compression on short iron strikes
• Matte finish reduces skidding on first contact for cleaner rollouts

What practical benefits does the vivid blue color deliver during a round?

Beyond aesthetics, the bold blue color reduces search time after errant shots and improves visibility against grass, sand, and varied backdrops. The soft matte coating also helps keep the finish looking clean round after round.

• High-visibility blue reduces time spent locating lost balls
• Matte coating resists glare for consistent sightlines in sun
• Color stands out in troupe and rough for easier recovery

Who is this for: The Volvik Vivid Soft Golf Balls in Blue suit recreational and improvement-focused golfers who swing at moderate speeds and prefer a softer impact with trustworthy greenside control. They’re a good match for players who value visual visibility and a comfortable feel without sacrificing stable flight or durability.
