XTECH Vented 5-Sided Football Backplate Small — Ventilated, Low-Profile Protection for Super Skill Shoulder Pads

Built for serious players who need reliable rear impact protection, this vented backplate combines perforated panels and a contoured five-sided shape to follow the spine while allowing airflow. The Small size pairs with XTECH's Super Skill strap configuration for a snug, athletic fit favored by many high-level athletes and scholastic teams. Made in the USA, the plate uses advanced materials and a patented design to balance protection and mobility.

How does the vented design keep you comfortable during intense play?

The backplate's perforations and slim profile reduce trapped heat and weight, helping players stay cooler during long practices and games. Venting also decreases sweat buildup against the pads, improving comfort and reducing slipping under the shoulder shell.

• Multiple vent channels for airflow and reduced moisture accumulation
• Thin, impact-resistant shell that minimizes bulk
• Contoured edges to sit close to the body and avoid chafing

Will this fit my Super Skill shoulder pads and strap system?

The Small XTECH backplate is cut specifically to align with the Super Skill short-strap layout, so installation is straightforward on compatible pads. Its strap holes and five-sided shape match the intended mounting points for a secure connection that maintains full range of motion.

• Short-strap design optimized for XTECH Super Skill shoulder pads
• Universal mounting alignment for common professional and college-style shells
• Low-profile fit keeps the shoulders free for tackling and reaching

How much protection does the backplate provide without limiting movement?

The plate delivers targeted coverage across the upper and middle back to absorb and distribute impact forces while preserving athletic mobility. Its engineered geometry shields key strike zones but is thin enough to let players bend and twist naturally during plays.

• Five-sided contouring protects spine and paraspinal areas
• Impact-dispersing construction reduces focal load on contact
• Designed for balance: protective area with minimal motion restriction
