DocksLocks Coiled Combination Cable Lock 25ft - 10mm Vinyl-Coated, Weatherproof

DocksLocks 25ft Coiled Combination Security Cable Lock is a weatherproof, vinyl-coated 10mm security cable with a resettable 4-digit combination—designed to secure bikes, kayaks, paddleboards and outdoor gear.

Whether you need extra reach to loop around a dock cleat or want a single, keyless solution to secure bulky outdoor items, this DocksLocks cable gives long working length with a compact, self-coiling design. The cable combines marine-grade steel with a corrosion-resistant finish and a zinc-alloy combination head that seals against moisture. Pick the 25ft model when you need maximum reach for locking boats, larger watercraft, or multiple pieces of equipment together.

How does the coiled design make the cable more convenient?

The spring-like coil keeps the cable compact when not in use, so it won’t drag on decks or tangle in storage. When deployed, it stretches to give ample working length, then recoils for neat storage—helpful for transport and keeping gear tidy on a boat or in a garage.

• Self-coiling keeps the cable compact and easy to store.
• Stretches up to the selected length when needed (25ft model shown).
• Reduces tangling compared with loose long cables.
• Lightweight to carry despite long reach.

What security and weather protection does this cable provide?

The inner core is electro-galvanized steel that resists cutting and flexing, while a thick vinyl jacket protects finishes and reduces noise. The combination lock head is sealed with a protective coating to slow corrosion in salty or wet environments—simple rinsing and occasional lubrication help preserve function in marine conditions.

• 10mm diameter steel core for robust resistance to daily wear.
• Vinyl coating prevents scratches to luggage, boards, and bikes.
• Electro-galvanized and sealed lock head for improved rust resistance.
• Recommended rinse after saltwater exposure and periodic lubrication.

How easy is it to use the combination mechanism and fit through tight spaces?

The cable’s male end measures 10mm, slim enough to pass through common scupper holes and small anchor points on kayaks and paddleboards. The four-digit, user-set combination removes the need to carry keys, and resetting the code is straightforward for personalized security.

• 10mm male end fits through narrow scupper holes and tight loops.
• Keyless convenience with a 4-digit resettable combination.
• Simple code reset process for easy customization.
• Ideal for users who prefer not to manage keys while on the water.

How do I choose the right length and maintain the cable?

Because the cable coils, account for a shorter natural working extension and consider sizing up if you need extra reach around fixed structures. The 25ft version provides maximum reach; for longevity, rinse with fresh water after salt exposure and lubricate the combination housing periodically.

• Choose a longer length if you need additional working reach.
• Coiled cables contract—factor that into required span measurements.
• Rinse after saltwater exposure and lubricate lock annually or as needed.
• Contact DocksLocks customer service for sizing or care questions.
