Under Armour F9 Nitro Receiver Football Gloves — 400 Blue, Medium, Sticky Palm & Slim Fit

The Under Armour Men's F9 Nitro Football Gloves are performance-oriented receiver gloves built to combine tacky grip with lightweight comfort for drills and game day.

Built by Under Armour, the F9 Nitro pairs a sticky palm surface with a streamlined fit so you can secure catches and maintain hand dexterity. Designed for athletes who demand dependable grip without excess bulk, these gloves bring the brand’s focus on performance innovation to the receiver position. The 400 BLUE colorway delivers a bold look on the field while the medium size (MD) fits players who need a snug, responsive feel.

How do these gloves improve catching and ball control?

The F9 Nitro gloves use a tactile palm material engineered to increase contact area and hold on the ball under typical play conditions. The tacky surface helps reduce drops on fingertip and palm catches while the glove’s fit keeps material from bunching.

• Sticky palm compound for enhanced surface grip
• Slim profile to ensure finger sensitivity and control
• Reinforced seams at high-stress zones to keep grip consistent

What is the fit and comfort like for extended use?

These gloves are built with a contoured cut to follow the natural shape of the hand, offering a secure feel without restricting movement. Breathable materials and strategic construction reduce heat buildup so hands stay comfortable during long practices or multi-quarter play.

• Ergonomic cut for a close, athletic fit
• Lightweight fabric panels to improve airflow
• Flexible wrist opening for easy on/off and a locked-in feel

How durable are the F9 Nitro gloves for regular use?

Under Armour designed the F9 Nitro to withstand routine training and game-day demands, with reinforced stitching in stress points and wear-resistant palm material. Proper care—rinsing after heavy use and air drying—helps maintain tack and longevity.

• Durable palm compound resists scuffing and abrasion
• Stitched reinforcement across fingers and seams
• Materials selected to balance grip with long-term wear

Are these gloves suitable for practice, games, or both?

The F9 Nitro is versatile enough for both practice sessions and competitive play, offering a balance of grip, fit, and durability. They’re engineered for receivers, but work well for multiple positions that require reliable hand performance.

• Performance grip ideal for catching and contested receptions
• Low-profile design works under pads and during drills
• Suitable for indoor and outdoor field conditions with routine care

Who is this for: Athletes seeking a midweight, tacky receiver glove that prioritizes secure catches and a snug, responsive fit will find the Under Armour F9 Nitro well-suited to their needs. Choose the 400 BLUE MD if you want a bold colorway and a medium fit designed for receivers and skill-position players who practice regularly and require dependable performance without bulky construction.
