Vice Golf Pro Plus golf balls — Gold, 4-layer cast urethane for greenside spin & distance

Vice Pro Plus Golf Balls (Gold) deliver maximum greenside spin and pinpoint control through a 4-layer construction and a cast urethane cover.

Built for golfers who demand precision around the green and consistent flight from the tee, the Vice Pro Plus prioritizes spin control without sacrificing distance for players with faster swing speeds. The ball combines a responsive inner core, layered energy transfer, and a soft urethane cover to help advanced players shape shots and hold greens when it matters most.

How does the Vice Pro Plus create more backspin on chip and pitch shots?

The Vice Pro Plus uses a soft cast urethane cover and a shell engineered to grip the grooves from wedges and irons, producing increased friction at impact. That construction, paired with the ball’s 336-dimple pattern, helps the ball stop quicker on short shots and bite more on full wedge strikes.

• Cast urethane cover for improved friction with clubface grooves
• 4-layer build balances spin on short game and control on full shots
• 336 dimple pattern supports stable trajectory and consistent spin rates

Will these balls suit my long game and tee shots?

Designed for players with higher swing speeds, the 4-layer design optimizes energy transfer at velocity so you can still achieve strong distance and a penetrating ball flight. The layering tempers excessive spin off the tee while the aerodynamic dimple pattern keeps the trajectory stable in windier conditions.

• Engineered for high swing speeds to maximize energy transfer
• Layered core reduces unwanted driver spin while preserving distance
• 336-dimple layout improves aerodynamic consistency through the air

How does the alignment aid help on the course?

The Vice Pro Plus includes a distinct alignment mark with crisp edges tapering toward the target, giving you a reliable visual cue for tee setup and putting alignment. Use it to consistently position the ball relative to your clubface and to line up putts after reading the green.

• Crisp, tapered edges visually guide aim on tee shots and putts
• Helps repeatable setup and more confident putting alignment
• Works equally well for pre-shot routine and final putt adjustments

What performance can I expect in variable conditions?

The combination of a cast urethane cover and a consistent dimple design produces predictable launch and reliable stopping power on the green, even when course conditions change. The ball’s construction is tuned to maintain control on full irons and short shots while offering stable flight in crosswinds.

• Consistent launch and spin behavior across temperature ranges
• Stable flight profile from the dimple architecture in windy conditions
• Control-first design for better greenside results under pressure

Who is this for? The Vice Pro Plus (Gold) is aimed at skilled golfers with above-average swing speeds who prioritize control and shot-shaping ability. If you want a ball that emphasizes greenside spin and precise alignment aids while still delivering strong energy transfer off the tee, this model is tailored to that player profile. Recreational players who prefer softer feel and more short-game bite will also find performance benefits, though players seeking maximum distance with minimal spin may prefer a different formulation.
