Volvik Vimat Golf Balls — White Matte, 85 Compression, Soft Feel & Consistent Flight

Volvik Vimat Golf Balls in white are matte-finish, 85-compression balls designed for easy visibility, consistent flight, and a soft but responsive feel across many swing speeds.

Engineered to balance distance, control and feel, the Volvik Vimat blends a durable ionomer cover with a high-energy soft core and an aerodynamic dimple layout. The matte surface reduces glare and makes the ball easier to pick out in varied light, while the construction promotes stable flight and reliable performance round after round.

How do these balls help me see and track shots better?

The Vimat’s matte finish cuts glare and produces a vivid, non-reflective surface that’s easier to track against sky and turf. That improved visibility helps follow launch and landing more clearly, especially in low-angle sun or overcast conditions.

• Glare-free matte coating for clearer sightlines
• Bright white tone stands out on fairway and rough
• Consistent surface texture reduces visual distractions

What performance can I expect around feel and distance?

These balls pair an 85-compression rating with a high-energy soft core to produce a forgiving, softer feel while still delivering efficient energy transfer off the clubface. The result is a comfortable sensation at impact that maintains competitive ball speed and carry for many golfers.

• 85 compression for a softer impact response on full swings
• High-energy soft core aids initial ball velocity and distance
• Reliable feel suited for a wide variety of swing speeds

Will the ball’s cover and dimple pattern affect control and trajectory?

The ionomer cover provides resilient durability and predictable response on greens and turf, while the 332-dimple pattern stabilizes airflow for a more consistent trajectory. That combination promotes repeatable performance and easier shot-shaping across different clubs.

• Durable ionomer cover resists scuffs and maintains performance
• 332 dimple geometry optimizes lift and drag balance
• Predictable spin and roll for approach and recovery shots

How does this ball fit into my equipment choices?

Vimat balls are versatile enough to complement game-improvement irons and most driver setups, offering a mix of comfort, durability and flight control. They’re a sensible option when you want a ball that performs well in practice, rounds, and casual competitions without specialized tour-level spin characteristics.

• Good match for mid- to low-handicap players seeking balance
• Works well with a range of drivers and wedge setups
• Durability supports frequent play without rapid wear

Who is this for: The Volvik Vimat (white) is aimed at golfers who want a soft-feel ball that remains visible on the course and delivers steady flight performance. It's ideal for players with moderate swing speeds who value durability and a comfortable impact feel, as well as practice golfers and casual competitors looking for consistent, everyday performance.
